SPS families are required to contribute a minimum of $250 toward the PTA major events/fundraisers each year. The major fundraiser events are:
Funds raised by the PTA pay for the budget assessment due to the school each year. This assessment pays for operating expenses including but not limited to teacher professional development and technological support. After our budget assessment has been met, the PTA financially supports specific programs at the school. These include:
NOTE: We also conduct fundraising efforts throughout the year by collecting Box Tops for Education, McCaffrey's Receipts, and gift cards through RaiseRight. Your donations through these efforts are very much appreciated; however, they do not count toward the $250 fundraising obligation per SPS family.
