Dear Parents,
Questions are arising as families look ahead to plans for Easter break scheduled for April 2-11. Included below are links to the NJ state, CDC and US state department websites which include the following recommendations for returning to school/work and quarantine post travel upon return home:
- May return to work/school after day 10 without testing.
- May return to work/school after day 7 after receiving a negative test result (test must occur on day 5 or later).
Students will be able to learn remotely while quarantining after the trip.
After stopping quarantine, you should:
- Continue to watch for symptoms until 14 days after returning home.
- If you have symptoms, immediately self-isolate and contact your local public health authority or healthcare provider.
Currently there are no considerations for changes in quarantine periods based on Covid vaccination status. All mitigation measures regardless of vaccination status must continue to reduce and eliminate the spread of Covid-19.
