High School Placement

We see the excitement of students as they continue the high school selection process. We all know that this can be a stressful process as well. I encourage you to call us with any questions or concerns. I am also happy to meet with any families, as I have been doing, to answer any questions or provide guidance. Please send an email with a few possible dates and times.

It is the responsibility of each family to obtain admissions documents or initiate filing electronic applications and complete required entrance exam/placement tests.

Catholic High Schools

As a rule, Catholic high schools have earlier admission deadlines. All transcript requests are given directly to Mrs. Karen Delle Fave in the main office. Teacher/Principal/Guidance Recommendations should be emailed to the individual via the school’s application.

Independent Schools

Local independent school (including Hun, HGP, Lawrenceville, Peddie, PDS, Pennington, Stuart) accept the Standard Application Online (SAO).  You will be required to create an account and apply online.  These schools also require that students apply online to register for the SSAT.  In-person and online testing are currently available for the SSAT.  All transcript requests are to be  directed to Mrs. Karen Delle Fave’s email via the online application process.  Teacher/Principal/Guidance Recommendations should be emailed to the individual via the school’s online application.

Public Schools

If you are considering your public school option, we encourage you to reach out to your local high school's guidance office for information.  Typically, no action is required on your part until the spring.
