Students in our lower school primary classrooms benefit from self-contained nurturing classroom environments. Small classes insure individualized, differentiated instruction. While incorporating the full complement of content areas, our focus is on building literary fluency and a strong foundation in mathematics.
A leveled, guided reading program accommodates the needs of each learner and strengthens reading independence.
The mathematics curriculum incorporates the use of manipulatives and everyday applications.
Daily prayers and religious instruction is built into the school day. Students in grades K-2 attend a weekly mass in our parish Church. Sacramental preparation is embedded in the 2nd grade Religion Curriculum for students making First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
