Principal's Update: Jan 12

Dear Parents of our 5B students,

Today we learned that a student in your child’s 5B class is a household contact of a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 today.  The chain of transmission for the virus is directly from a positive person to another person. Your child’s classmate, at this time, is NOT known to be positive and has shown NO symptoms. Your child’s classmate will be seen today by their health care provider and will have a COVID-19 test today. We will update you as soon as those results are available. Your child and your family DO NOT need to quarantine. Your child may continue to come to school. Please see the attachment that explains isolation/quarantine/close contact.

As we are in an ongoing pandemic, if any member of your family shows symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your health care provider immediately.
